Role Overview
As an IT Field Technician, you will be responsible for performing on-site and remote technical support for clients. This role is ideal for someone starting an IT career who is eager to learn and grow in networking, systems administration, and cloud technologies.
You will handle workstation setups, troubleshooting for our break/fix clients, and perform monthly client network maintenance.
You’ll receive mentorship and training, with opportunities to advance into more specialized roles within Firefly.
Key Responsibilities
- Workstation Setups: Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot workstations for clients, ensuring they meet company standards and client-specific needs.
- Break/Fix Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for our break/fix clients on time.
- Monthly Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, including system updates, security checks, and network health assessments.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of tasks, configurations, and troubleshooting steps in the company’s documentation platform. Client Support: Provide excellent customer service, both on-site and remotely, ensuring client satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with account managers, account technicians, and the broader team to deliver seamless service to our clients. Learning & Growth: Actively engage in training opportunities to expand your knowledge in networking, systems administration, and cloud administration.
